Last updated: July 2026 · Bookkeeper Dashboard (ABN 13 935 761 170)
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Bookkeeper Dashboard ("the Service"), operated by Bookkeeper Dashboard (ABN 13 935 761 170) ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Bookkeeper Dashboard is a practice management platform for bookkeepers and BAS agents. It provides tools for client management, document generation and e-signing, task and job tracking, time logging, capacity planning, and integration with third-party accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks Online. The Service includes two AI assistants, Sage (compliance) and Paige (marketing and brand), which use third-party large language model providers to generate responses — see clause 6.
3. Beta status
The Service is currently in closed beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice, and beta testers may experience bugs or downtime. Beta pricing offered to early adopters is honoured as described at signup.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you and your clients enter, including data entered via client portal links.
5. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices and inclusions are as displayed at signup or in your account settings. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
6. AI-generated content
Sage and Paige use third-party AI models (including Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Groq-hosted models) to generate compliance guidance, documents, marketing content, and website/logo drafts. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and does not constitute professional tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content, including BAS/compliance material, before relying on or sending it to clients or lodging it with the ATO.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to another practice's data, probe or bypass authentication or tenant isolation, or use it to store or transmit unlawful content. Your use of the Service, including Sage and Paige, is also subject to our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Third-party integrations
The Service may connect to third-party platforms including Xero, QuickBooks Online, the Australian Business Register (for ABN lookups), and social media platforms for content posting. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
9. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of your information, and your clients' information, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Intellectual property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bookkeeper Dashboard and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, and of documents, websites, and other content generated on your behalf.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information provided (including AI-generated content) constitutes professional accounting or legal advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookkeeper Dashboard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may close your account at any time from Settings; we will handle any resulting data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
